The paid versions of the translators and dictionaires include tens of thousands of additional Dictionary examples, a Phrasebook with twice as many sentences and a more the double the number of moods and tenses in the Verb Conjugator. In addition, the paid versions are ad free.

All the information in the Dictionary, Phrasebook and Verb Conjugator is stored on the device and does not require an internet connection. The only features that require an internet connections are the phrase translator and online lookup of additional information for dictionary entries.

If you search for a word in the dictionary and there are no matching entries in the lookup list, a globe icon will appear in the search bar. Tap on the globe icon to lookup the word in online resources such as Wiktionary and Wikipedia. We collect statistics on unsuccessful lookup attempts and use the information to add words to new versions of our dictionaries.

There is no need to select a language to lookup a Dictionary word or a verb conjugation. Vidalingua apps use a single database for both languages so lookups are fast and easy.
